Officers' Entry Schemes

Direct Entry Stream
Should have a Degree from a recognized University or Higher National Diploma (minimum one year duration) with two years of work experience.
Volunteer Stream
Should have a Degree from a recognized University or Higher National Diploma (minimum one year duration) with two years of working experience.
Service Entry
Ratings with special aptitudes, qualifications & outstanding leadership abilities are selected, trained & granted a commission.

Training Tracks Setup

Non-Artificer Training Pipeline

Basic training of about 6 months will be followed by dedicated "on-the-job" training cycles (both ashore & afloat) hagu sub-specialization units lasting 6 to 12 months.

Artificer Engineering Academic Line

On completion of 3 to 6 months of basic military drills, advanced technical training modules confer an accredited Diploma in Naval Engineering.
