To join the Sri Lanka Navy, you must be a Sri Lankan citizen aged 18-30 years. Visit the official recruitment page or contact the nearest Navy Recruitment Office. Required documents include National Identity Card, educational certificates, and medical fitness. Regular recruitment advertisements are published in newspapers and on the official Navy website.

In case of floods, call the Navy Disaster Management Centre on 011-2447091 or the 24-hour emergency hotline 1990. Our vessels and personnel are always ready to support civil authorities.
The Sri Lanka Navy provides protection to fishermen in Sri Lankan waters, conducts search and rescue operations for distressed boats, assists during rough weather, and runs community development programs for coastal fishermen. We also operate the "Navy Fishermen Support Programme" for training, equipment, and safety awareness.
